Do you live and breathe AI? Do you tinker with agents on weekends, read model release notes for fun, and get a bit too excited about robots?

Good. Read on.

About AutoSolutions.ai

AutoSolutions.ai is the AI Division of The Unmarked Group, a fast-growing group of 8+ companies with HQ in Australia and locations around the world. We put AI to work inside real, fast-moving businesses. And we are not stopping at software: the group is moving into physical robotics, IoT and everything at the edge of what technology can do.

The role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Solutions Engineer, you sit with the teams, work out what is really slowing them down, then build and ship the AI system that fixes it. You stay with it after launch and make sure it keeps working. No hand-offs, no ticket ping-pong: you own the problem from first conversation to production.

What you will do

- Sit down with business teams across the group to understand their processes and decide what is worth building
- Design, build and ship AI agents, RAG systems, automations and integrations end to end
- Connect AI to the systems the business runs on: ERPs, CRMs, dashboards and data pipelines
- Run evals, monitoring and feedback loops so what you ship keeps getting better
- Work AI-native every day with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, MCP and modern agent frameworks
- Prototype at the edge with IoT, robotics and physical AI as the group expands into them
- Travel between group locations and to our Australian HQ

You might be our person if

- You are obsessed with AI and can prove it: things you have built, used by people other than you
- You write code yourself and feel completely at home in modern AI engineering tools
- You are just as comfortable in a room with non-technical people as you are in an editor
- You own the whole thing: discovery, build, delivery and feedback

- You tried a new AI tool or technique this month and have strong opinions about it
- You are passionate about AI, robotics, IoT and tech innovation in general
- Your English is fluent enough to hold a 2-hour meeting and contribute. No certificates needed: we will simply have a conversation

Nice to have

- Hands-on work with hardware, IoT, robotics or physical AI
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM or BI systems.
- Consulting, business analysis or your own automation business: anything that had you working directly with clients or stakeholders

What we offer

- Salary of €55,000 to €85,000 per year, depending on experience
- Real ownership and a direct line to the Group Head of AI
- A wide variety of businesses and problems to work on across the group
- A front-row seat as an AI company moves into robotics and physical AI
- International exposure, including travel to group locations and HQ in Australia

Where and how we work

This role is fully on-site at our office in Premià de Dalt (Maresme), Barcelona. It is not hybrid or remote. The application process and the role itself are entirely in English.

How to apply

1. Apply online (12 to 15 minutes): a few eligibility questions, your CV and a few questions about what you have built. Be specific: name the systems, the numbers and what went wrong.
2. AI interview: If initial screening is passed, a conversation with my digital twin, an AI avatar of myself (Didac, Head of Group AI).
3. Meet the team: an in-person (ideally) conversation about your work, your story and how you like to build.

I forgot to mention. If you use AI to answer any questions, trust me, I will know, and I won't like it. If you try to embed some random metadata on your CV to position yourself in a better place, I will find out and I won't like it either.

I want to know who YOU are first, with your own words. AI will come later.
