Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) / Clinical Site Lead

Location: Spain

Contract: Initial 12 months, with potential for rolling 12-month extensions

Travel: At least 70%, including international travel

We are looking for an experienced Senior CRA to take ownership of assigned clinical study sites in Spain. This is a hands-on site management and monitoring role covering the full study lifecycle, from site qualification and startup through enrolment, execution and closeout.

What you’ll do

- Act as the main point of contact for assigned sites and build strong relationships with investigators and site teams.
- Qualify sites, coordinate startup and support activation within study timelines.
- Develop site-specific approaches to support patient enrolment.
- Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring and closeout visits.
- Review source documentation and study data for accuracy, completeness and protocol compliance.
- Resolve site issues and follow up on monitoring findings,



protocol deviations and corrective actions.
- Train site staff and keep Clinical Operations and Study Management updated on site progress.
- Support site budget discussions and contract execution.

What you’ll bring
- At least four years of clinical research or clinical site management experience, including strong hands-on monitoring experience.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial regulations and site monitoring.
- The confidence to manage site relationships and work independently.
- A background in health science, nursing, science, engineering, cardiology or a related field.
- Availability to travel at least 70%, including internationally.
