Position Summary

The Product & Process Engineer is responsible for driving the development, industrialization, optimization, and continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes to support business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role leads technical projects, supports new product launches, resolves complex manufacturing challenges, and identifies opportunities to improve operational performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Product & Process Engineer ensures compliance with customer requirements, manufacturing standards, and continuous improvement principles while contributing to operational excellence and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead the development, implementation, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and product industrialization activities to ensure successful launches and stable production.
- Analyze manufacturing data, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, quality enhancement, and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans,



and other engineering records as required.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D; teams to resolve technical issues and improve product and process performance.
- Support equipment qualification, process validation, and capacity improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, safety regulations, and applicable quality management systems.
- Provide technical guidance and engineering support to production teams and other stakeholders.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects and contribute to achieving departmental and plant performance objectives.

- Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience

- Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with entry-level engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.




- Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies

Requirements and Preferred Skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial systems engineering roles.
- Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering analysis tools.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Catalan and Spanish, spoken and written correctly.
