As a Senior Data Platform Engineer , you’ll directly shape Ebury’s core data infrastructure , transforming raw data into a reliable, scalable asset for teams worldwide.
You will architect robust, open-source-friendly frameworks and establish data governance that directly fuels our strategic global growth.
Success in this position empowers cross-functional teams to make faster, sharper decisions backed by accessible, high-quality data.
You’ll join our Data Platform team in our Madrid office through a hybrid setup (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) , where daily collaboration sits at the heart of daily operations.

Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL drives your approach to data transformation and dimensional modeling.
Direct experience includes building and scaling data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions).
Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, such as slowly changing dimensions or graph databases, shapes your architectural decisions.
Clear communication in English complements a strong commitment to team collaboration (Spanish is a bonus).
