About the role
We are looking for a Backend Developer with experience in Python and AWS Cloud technologies to join a strategic platform team responsible for user, tenant and access management within a cloud-native ecosystem.
You will contribute to the implementation of Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities, helping to ensure platform resilience, business continuity and operational excellence within a highly regulated environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale cloud architectures, Infrastructure as Code, identity management and automation, collaborating with Security, Product, Data and Engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design and implement Disaster Recovery solutions for a cloud-native platform.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu.
- Build and automate AWS cloud resources supporting resilience and recovery scenarios.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform recovery and deployment processes.
- Develop backend services and automation scripts using Python and Shell.
- Create unit and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and quality.
- Document recovery procedures and participate in validation exercises.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across Product, Security and Engineering.
- Experience in Backend Development with Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Cognito, IAM, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, KMS, CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactive,
analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- SAFe, Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Identity and Access Management.
- Software security best practices.
- AWS, MongoDB or Agile certifications.
