Overview

In this role you will contribute to HUMS development across multiple platforms, enabling health monitoring, predictive maintenance and safer operations. You will lead systems engineering activities, define architecture for on-board big data solutions, and drive lifecycle activities from requirements to verification and certification. You will integrate health management systems on aircraft and support testing, data management and supplier coordination. This is a cross-functional, safety-critical role with regional travel and collaboration across aerospace programs.

Responsabilidades

- Lead systems engineering to specify, develop, integrate, qualify and certify health management systems per Airbus Defence and Space standards
- Define HUMS architecture and act as HW/SW designer analyst for on-board centralized Big Data architectures
- Identify necessary development lifecycle activities and provide confidence aligned with regulations and program requirements
- Gather customer requirements and incorporate them into the product
- Define checkpoints and reviews with maturity expectations aligned with program phases and gates
- Elaborate product detailed design according to allocated requirements and architecture
- Oversee integration of Health management system on aircraft




- Specify and support laboratory, ground and flight tests for development, certification and qualification (V&V;) of HUMS
- Lead data management activities for massive information collection, processing and storage
- Experience in on-board hardware/software lifecycle and supplier management (next skills)
- Experience in SW design & development
- Experience in development of on-board high-performance computers
- Experience with A400M, C-295, SiRTAP or EuroDrone programs
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end development activities from requirements to verification/validation for qualified/certified systems
- Knowledge of procurement activities from supplier selection to monitoring
- Tools: DOORS, ICDMS, SNT, ABDs, Eclipse
- Good communication, assertiveness and willingness to travel
- Strong Spanish and English skills (verbal and written)
