As a ADAS & Automated Vehicle Virtual Development engineer and member of the Electronics team at the Applus+ IDIADA Group, your mission will be to develop, maintain and operate virtual environments for ADAS systems. You will play a crucial role in the integration, verification, and validation of these systems through rigorous testing and simulation, ensuring its quality and reliability.ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be (for the functions mentioned above):- Design, develop, and maintain HIL test benches for ADAS systems- Integrate hardware and software components to create an effective simulation environment- Create and execute test plans and procedures for ADAS components and systems- Perform system integration and functional tests on ADAS hardware and software- Develop and manage test features and scenarios for HIL simulations- Analyse test results and provide detailed reports on system performance- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HIL testing processes and tools- Maintain documentation for HIL test benches, procedures, and resultsProfile - Proven experience in HIL testing, preferably in the automotive industry- Experience in system integration, verification and validation- Strong knowledge of ADAS systems and technologies- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to ADAS- Experience with HIL simulation tools (preferably dSPACE & Vector)- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)- Knowledge of model-based design and testing methodologies- Experience with version control systems (e.G.,
