Overview

In this role, you join Platform Engineering to build and improve internal platform capabilities that streamline how product teams develop, deploy, and operate software. You’ll gain experience with cloud-native techniques, automation, and self-service tooling to reduce friction and boost developer efficiency. You will work closely with platform and software engineers to deliver well-tested components and automation, while learning how platform services are designed and operated. This position offers meaningful impact through enabling teams to move faster and deliver value at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Develop, test, document, and maintain software components, internal tools, and automation for the engineering platform
- Contribute to self-service capabilities that help product and data teams work more efficiently
- Turn well-defined manual tasks into reliable automated workflows
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Investigate and resolve straightforward defects and operational issues with guidance
- Contribute to unit, integration, and automated quality checks
- Collaborate with platform, software, and data engineers and internal users to validate solutions




- Contribute technical input to team documentation and design discussions
- Apply security, reliability, observability, version control, and continuous delivery practices
- Continuously develop technical skills and share learnings with the team

Requisitos principales

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent internships
- Solid programming fundamentals with practical experience in at least one general-purpose language (Python favored)
- Understanding of core software engineering concepts: version control, testing, APIs, debugging, maintainable code
- Familiarity with Git-based collaboration and code-review practices
- Structured, curious approach to problem-solving and quick learner
- Clear written and spoken English
- Valuable: exposure to data engineering (Python, SQL, data pipelines), cloud services (preferably AWS), infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and interest in AI/ML developments and agentic engineering
