We're Hiring: Application Support Technician

Are you an IT support professional who enjoys solving complex application and database issues? Join a Digital Solutions Managed Services team within a leading international organization and support business applications used by partners around the world! ?

? Contract: long-term engagement agreement

? Hybrid flexibility: Up to 1 day of teleworking per week

? On-call: One week per month (rotation-based)

? What you'll do:

- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of applications and tools
- Perform database administration on MSSQL and open-source databases
- Resolve Tier-2 application issues and escalate Tier-3 issues to designated focal points
- Assist in evaluating, configuring and installing new releases
- Support system upgrades, tool deployments and operational processes
- Respond to application queries from end users in remote locations
- Share knowledge with Tier-1 and deliver end-user training
- Contribute to technical documentation and system reports
- Provide 24/7 standby and on-call support, including shifts when required
- Take part in special projects and cross-team initiatives

? Must-haves:





- 3–5 years of experience in application maintenance and IT support
- Good knowledge of client/server applications in Windows/Linux environments
- Solid database management skills
- Very good written and spoken English

⭐ Nice-to-haves:

- 3+ years administering Windows Server, SQL Server and .NET applications
- Experience with MySQL, Red Hat Linux and Drupal
- Knowledge of Active Directory, AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with IPSAS or compliant operational processes
- Another language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Russian)
- Microsoft certifications and/or ITIL certification
