Structural / Civil Engineer – Industrial Projects

About the Role

We are looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join industrial projects within the Metals & Minerals and Energy sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural analysis and design of industrial facilities, working on both steel and concrete structures and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop advanced Finite Element Models (FEM) for static and dynamic structural analysis.
- Design and size shallow and deep foundations, including piles, as well as retaining walls, according to applicable regulations and standards.
- Perform the design and calculation of industrial steel structures, including structural connections, pipe racks and heavy-load support structures.
- Prepare structural calculation reports, technical annexes, specifications and quantity take-offs.
- Coordinate with the BIM team to integrate structural designs into central Revit models.
- Review steelwork shop drawings and reinforcement detailing.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the correct integration of structural solutions within the overall project.
- Ensure that designs comply with applicable technical standards, quality requirements and project specifications.





Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering, preferably within industrial projects.
- Experience with FEM modelling and static/dynamic structural analysis.
- Knowledge of foundation design, retaining walls and industrial steel structures.
- Experience with pipe racks and heavy-load support structures will be highly valued.
- Experience working with BIM / Revit in structural engineering projects.
- Ability to understand and review technical drawings and structural documentation.
- English level: B2 or higher.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international project environments.
