Overview

In this role you design, develop, and maintain mission simulators for aerospace systems, shaping how complex platforms are validated. You work with cross‑functional teams to ensure interoperability and fidelity of simulations, tackling performance and stability challenges. You will define architectures, select technologies, and drive continuous improvements in simulation development. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact aerospace programs in a multinational environment.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop and implement mission simulation models for complex aerospace systems (aircraft and spacecraft)
- Lead integration of subsystems within simulation environments for interoperability and performance
- Conduct comprehensive simulator testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize simulation performance and stability
- Collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers across multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to simulation architectures and technology selection




- Improve simulation development processes and methodologies
- Provide technical support and training to simulator users
- Document simulation design, implementation and results

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing/testing mission simulators or real-time systems in aerospace/defense
- Strong C++ programming experience
- Deep knowledge of simulation architectures, physical modeling, and system integration
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and development environments
- Familiarity with RTOS and data communication protocols
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead technical projects
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Advanced Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (ARINC, DO-178C, DO-254) is advantageous
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance if required
