At Pepco, we continue to grow and are looking for a Junior Lawyer to join our Legal team in Madrid, supporting our operations in the Portuguese market.

Your Challenge

You will have the opportunity to provide broad legal support to our business teams, helping to ensure that operations are carried out in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day legal support to different business areas, with a focus on corporate and commercial matters.
- Draft and review corporate and contractual documentation, including shareholders' resolutions, powers of attorney, internal policies, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain corporate documentation and monitor compliance with legal obligations.
- Support regulatory filing processes and collaborate with external law firms and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the company's activities.
- Coordinate document execution, approval workflows, and legal document archiving.




- Work closely with international teams, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Tax.

What We Are Looking For

- Master's Degree in Law.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an in-house legal department or a corporate law firm.
- Solid knowledge of Corporate Law and Commercial Law.
- Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong business mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Specific Requirements

- Solid knowledge of the Portuguese legal and business environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese, both written and spoken.
- Residence in Madrid (hybrid model with in-office presence three times per week).
- Ability to act as a trusted legal partner for the Portuguese market.
