We are looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst to join an international digital transformation project within the insurance sector. This role combines product ownership and business analysis responsibilities, working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and product leadership to deliver innovative solutions in a global environment.

The project is currently focused on the German market and will progressively expand to other international markets, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding business processes, driving product evolution, and collaborating across multicultural teams.

What will you do?

- Gather, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Understand and translate complex business processes related to insurance claims and damage management.
- Define product requirements and contribute to the product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure business needs are properly translated into technical solutions.
- Support the design and evolution of APIs and digital products.
- Prioritize product backlog items and participate in agile ceremonies.
- Validate delivered solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Conduct business and use case analysis, identifying opportunities for scalability and reuse across different markets.
- Work closely with international teams during the expansion of the solution beyond Germany.

What are we looking for?





- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or hybrid PO/BA role.
- Strong experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Previous exposure to product lifecycle management and backlog prioritization.
- Fluent German (mandatory).
- Good communication skills in international environments.
- Experience working with Jira and Atlassian tools.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams.

Nice to have

- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of claims, damage management, or related insurance processes.
- Experience working on AI-driven initiatives or products.
- Familiarity with conversational AI platforms or AI-powered solutions.
- Experience working with APIs and digital ecosystems.
