Forward Deployed Engineer (Python, AI Systems)Spain (Madrid or Barcelona preferred) | HybridUp to 100k + performance bonus + equityWe're supporting one of our clients (an AI-native product company) in hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, AI systems, clients & product and enterprise deployments.This is not a traditional backend role.It's for engineers who want to build, ship, and deploy AI-powered systems directly into real client environments, fast.The RoleAs a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven workflows powered by LLMs and agent-based systems.You'll take ownership from architecture to production.This includes:- Designing backend architectures in Python (FastAPI-heavy stack)- Integrating AI systems (LLMs, RAG pipelines, structured outputs)- Building APIs and microservices for client-specific workflows- Deploying scalable, containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)- Debugging production issues and improving system reliability- Translating business requirements into clean technical solutionsYou won't just ship code — you'll see it live, used,
