About the role

Our client is undertaking a strategic renewal programme to gradually and comprehensively modernise its core pricing and trading systems.

As a Business Analyst, you will join the Price & Distribution squad, part of the Corporate and Investment Banking area and Markets domain. The squad is responsible for developing applications used by Sales and Trading teams globally to support the generation and distribution of FX Options prices on the trading floor.

You will work closely with senior front-office stakeholders, technology teams and project participants to analyse business needs, define effective technology solutions and support their delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from Sales, Trading and other front-office stakeholders.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured and comprehensive functional specifications.
- Analyse complex problems, identify potential solutions and present well-reasoned, defensible recommendations.
- Work closely with senior front-office users in a demanding, international environment.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, from requirements analysis through implementation.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Contribute to the definition of business processes, system functionality and solution designs.
- Develop logical and comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios and clear test cases.
- Support and execute testing activities, including defect identification, tracking and resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare high-quality business documentation, presentations and project materials in English.
- Ensure that requirements,



decisions and project outcomes are clearly communicated and properly documented.
- Organise and prioritise your own workload while meeting agreed deadlines and delivery objectives.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Previous experience working in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Financial Services or a related technology environment.
- Strong understanding of the Business Analysis role across the full software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to deliver high-quality technology solutions within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Experience working with complex systems, business processes and technology change initiatives.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and front-office users.
- Experience creating test strategies, test scenarios and test cases.
- Practical experience supporting and executing testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and methodical approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, at least B2 level.
- Ability to run workshops and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Confidence preparing business documents, presentations and functional specifications.

Desirable experience

- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange products and processes.
- Experience with FX Options.
- Understanding of pricing, price generation or price distribution solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Intermediate Power BI skills.
