We're hiring: Community & House Manager at Masia House, Barcelona ?

Not someone to simply manage a building — someone to build a community and become its host.

About Masia

Masia is a venture platform from Barcelona, connecting the best general founders to the city. We invest in exceptional founders at the earliest stages and, around that activity, we're building a community of entrepreneurs, investors and operators.

Now we're creating its physical home. Masia House is a 1,000+ sqm space in Barcelona that will host the Masia team, selected founders and companies, visiting investors, intimate events, lunches and dinners, and the Founders Café — a meeting point for the entrepreneurial community.

The role

You'll own the day-to-day experience of Masia House. You'll know who's coming to Barcelona next week, welcome the VC visiting from London and introduce them to the founder they should meet. You'll make sure tomorrow's lunch has exactly the right mix of people around the table — and that, behind it all, the House works perfectly.

This role sits at the intersection of Community × Hospitality × Startups × Operations.

What you'll do

- Get to know our members, founders, LPs, investors and regular guests, and make thoughtful introductions between them
- Coordinate visits from international founders and VCs to Barcelona
- Curate guests, formats and experiences for founder lunches, VC dinners, portfolio events and LP conversations — from intimate 8-person dinners to 80-person community events
- Work closely with our Chef and Founders Café team to make hospitality memorable
- Run the daily rhythm of the House: meeting spaces, shared areas, opening/closing routines and access
- Coordinate suppliers (cleaning, maintenance, IT, security)



and solve operational incidents quickly
- Keep bookings, inventory and supply orders on track, with support from an admin profile
- Partner with our Content & Brand Lead on stories worth telling — while protecting what should stay private
- Work with the Projects & Operations team on the strategy and processes behind the House

Who we're looking for A natural host and connector — the background matters less than the instinct. You might come from startups, venture capital, hospitality, private members' clubs, community building or events. International experience is a real plus. You're the kind of person who remembers names, notices when someone arrives alone, and knows that two people in opposite corners of the room should meet. You also bring:

- Genuine curiosity about startups, technology and entrepreneurship
- Strong organisation and reliability on operational details, not just relationships
- Social intelligence and ease around founders, investors and senior executives
- High standards, attention to detail, judgement and discretion
- Ownership: you move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without waiting for instructions
- Excellent English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus
- Based in Barcelona, or keen to make it home

To be clear, this is not an office manager role, traditional event management, or a job about maximising attendance. We believe community is built through relationships, not programming.
