We are a Chinese company establishing a new legal entity in Spain and are looking for a locally experienced HR professional to be our primary HR contact on the ground. At the first stage, this role has a strong focus on payroll and benefits, working closely with our external tax/accounting provider who handles tax filings and compliance.
We welcome both local Spanish candidates and Chinese candidates with strong Spain HR experience. Fluency in Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll and social security administration
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, pension plans, and meal allowances
- Maintain payroll records, personnel files, and HR data in compliance with Spanish labor law
- Act as main liaison with external tax/accounting provider on payroll matters
- Support local recruitment,
onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Serve as first point of contact for employee HR queries in Spain
Requirements
- Hands-on HR experience in Spain
- Solid knowledge of Spanish payroll, social security, and local labor law
- Fluency in Spanish required; English working proficiency; Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a newly established entity
Nice to Have
- Experience in a multinational or newly established foreign-owned entity in Spain
- Experience coordinating with external tax/accounting providers
