Role Description The Lawyer will work full time on-site in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area, providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing case files from initial assessment through resolution. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing statutes and case law, preparing legal opinions and memoranda, and representing clients in negotiations or proceedings as appropriate. The role involves regular client meetings, explaining legal options and risks, and coordinating with colleagues to develop effective strategies.

The Lawyer will support compliance matters, prepare documentation for courts and regulatory bodies, and ensure all work meets professional and ethical standards. Collaboration with internal teams, careful time management,



and accurate record-keeping are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

- Advanced legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong drafting skills for contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and other formal documents.
- Effective client communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience in negotiation, dispute resolution, and managing cases or transactions from start to finish.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and coordinate with other professional stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to handle multiple matters under time pressure.
- Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) and admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction; good standing with the applicable bar association.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish; additional languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with legal technology tools, document management systems, and standard office software.
