Nuestro cliente busca un Coordinador de Transporte Terrestre con experiencia para unirse a su equipo remoto. Serás responsable de la gestión y supervisión de todas las operaciones de transporte por carretera, asegurando la entrega eficiente y segura de mercancías a nuestros clientes. Este rol demanda un profesional organizado, con gran atención al detalle y la capacidad de gestionar múltiples tareas simultáneamente en un entorno virtual. Tu labor será crucial para mantener la fluidez de nuestra cadena de suministro terrestre y garantizar la máxima satisfacción del cliente, colaborando estrechamente con transportistas y equipos internos.

Key Responsibilities

-

- Coordinar la programación y asignación de vehículos y conductores para las rutas de transporte terrestre.

- Realizar el seguimiento de los envíos y proporcionar actualizaciones periódicas a los clientes y al equipo interno.

- Gestionar la comunicación con transportistas y proveedores, asegurando el cumplimiento de los acuerdos y tarifas.

- Procesar y verificar la documentación relacionada con el transporte, como albaranes, facturas y notas de porte.

- Resolver incidencias y problemas operativos que puedan surgir durante el transporte terrestre, buscando soluciones rápidas y efectivas.

- Analizar datos de rendimiento del transporte para identificar áreas de mejora y proponer optimizaciones.

Requirements

- Experiencia previa demostrable en coordinación de transporte terrestre o logística.

- Conocimiento de la normativa de transporte por carretera en España y Europa.

- Habilidades sólidas de organización, planificación y gestión del tiempo.

- Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma y proactiva en un entorno de trabajo remoto.

- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, tanto escrita como verbal.

- Dominio de herramientas ofimáticas y software de gestión de transporte (TMS).

This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, night shifts and on-call duty.

Key job responsibilities

- Plan resources and manage disruption to transportation for your site

- Report on metrics using performance dashboards

- Create automated reports for stakeholders and leadership teams

- Conduct root cause analysis and use insights to inform site process improvements

- Communicate and present information to the appropriate teams

The work you'll conduct is both proactive and reactive, requiring you to analyse the Services Recycling environment and work quickly to resolve any operational issues. About the team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL)



looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.

Basic Qualifications

-

- Knowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1

- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word

- Experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data

Preferred Qualifications

-

- A degree

- Experience of working with SQL, VBA Python, R, or other programming language

- Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership

- Experience in assessing operating processes and outcomes quantitatively and qualitatively
