Role Description The Travel Agent at Voyagexpert is a full-time, hybrid role based in Barcelona, with a mix of office-based work and the option to work from home on agreed days. In this position, the Travel Agent will handle day-to-day travel arrangements for corporate clients, including booking flights, hotels, trains, and car rentals, and managing changes or cancellations.

The role involves using reservation systems and company tools to provide accurate itineraries, cost-effective options, and compliant business travel solutions.

The Travel

Agent will deliver responsive customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues,



and offering expert advice on travel routes, policies, and alternatives. The role also includes collaborating with colleagues and suppliers, supporting sales activities, and ensuring that every trip meets Voyagexpert’s standards for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including booking and modifying business trips across multiple transport and accommodation providers.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client requests, provide clear, timely communication.
- Familiarity with GDS or travel booking platforms, and strong general computer literacy (email, office applications).
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Spanish and English; additional European language are an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in corporate or business travel agencies is preferred; vocational training or a degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborate with international teams, and demonstrate a client-focused, solutions-oriented mindset.
