We are looking for an experienced Global IT Procurement Manager to lead and coordinate the sourcing and procurement of technology products and services across a large, international organization.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies across key IT categories, ensuring competitive commercial terms, strong supplier performance, effective risk management, and alignment with the organization’s technology and business priorities.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security and other corporate functions, managing strategic technology suppliers and complex negotiations in a highly international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute general sourcing and procurement strategies for IT products and services.
- Manage strategic procurement initiatives across categories such as:
- Software and SaaS
- Cloud services and infrastructure
- Hardware and end-user computing
- Telecommunications and connectivity
- IT professional services and consulting
- Managed services and outsourcing
- Cybersecurity and technology-related services
- Lead complex RFP, RFQ and vendor selection processes, from requirements definition through negotiation and contract award.
- Negotiate global and regional agreements, optimizing pricing, commercial terms, service levels, contractual conditions and total cost of ownership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key general technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, demand aggregation, standardization and cost optimization across different countries and business units.




- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to understand technology roadmaps, upcoming investments and procurement requirements.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Data Privacy and Risk teams during supplier evaluation and contracting processes.
- Monitor supplier performance, contractual compliance, service levels and commercial commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, governance, spend visibility and supplier management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives related to technology spend.
- Provide market intelligence and benchmarking on IT categories, suppliers, pricing models and technology trends.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, governance standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
- Significant experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or technology vendor management, ideally within a large international organization.
- Strong knowledge of technology procurement categories, particularly software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure and IT services.




- Proven track record managing complex international negotiations and high-value technology contracts.
- Experience working with major global technology suppliers.
- Strong understanding of commercial models including subscriptions, licensing, consumption-based pricing, professional services and managed services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
- Strong analytical, financial and negotiation capabilities.
- Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment.
- High level of autonomy, ownership and ability to manage several strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Languages

- English: Full professional proficiency / fluent.
- French: Professional working proficiency required.
- Additional languages would be considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Experience managing procurement activities across multiple countries or regions.
- Exposure to global or European technology procurement frameworks.
- Experience with procurement platforms, spend analytics and contract management tools.
- Familiarity with technology contracting topics such as data protection, cybersecurity, software licensing, cloud agreements and service-level agreements.
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS or equivalent would be an advantage.
