Payroll Specialist (Global) - Multinational IT Company

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our integral HR team and take ownership of payroll operations across multiple countries. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international environment, partnering with local providers, HR teams, Finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll delivery worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple countries and regions.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and social security regulations.
- Support payroll audits and maintain accurate payroll records and reporting.




- Partner closely with HR, Finance, and People Operations teams on payroll-related initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of payroll processes.
- Assist with international mobility, expatriate payroll, and cross-border payroll matters when required.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in an international or multinational environment. Spanish market experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and payroll compliance principles.
- Experience managing payroll across multiple countries.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a global environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
