ServiceNow is a strategic enterprise platform at Unit4, supporting internal operations, employee and customer services, workflow automation, and our wider digital transformation agenda.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

This is a hands-on senior technical role. You will work closely with the ServiceNow Practice Lead, business analysts, architects, business owners, and other development teams to translate business requirements into effective platform solutions. You will also contribute to technical standards, development quality, platform stability, and the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow capabilities.

What you will do

- Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows.
- Build and enhance solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, App Engine, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.




- Develop integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, webhooks, import sets, and transform maps.
- Create workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Service Catalog, and other platform capabilities.
- Support the adoption of Now Assist and AI-enabled workflows, ensuring appropriate controls, testing, monitoring, and human oversight.
- Promote standard ServiceNow functionality and reusable solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
- Perform code reviews, automated testing, release validation, and troubleshooting of complex platform issues.
- Support platform upgrades, production deployments, technical documentation, and operational handover.
- Mentor other developers and contribute to strong engineering standards and continuous platform improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, automate manual processes, and deliver measurable business value.
