We are looking for a team member for our growing organization in Barcelona Global Ports operation.
Financial Accountant & TAX
The role of Financial Role is to efficiently and accurately oversee the financial management of the business. Typically reporting to the Finance Director.
Duties will cover the full spectrum of finance operations, including budgeting and forecasting, preparation of management accounts, cash flow management and auditing.

Key Responsibilities




-Managing all Finance and accounting operations
-Keeping company books
-Manage all Accounting Operations including Billing, A/R, A/P and GL
-Manage and control all accounting systems
-Support month-ed and year-end close process
-Assist the preparation of the budget and financial forecast
-Coordinate the preparation of all stakeholder reporting, regulatory reporting, and VAT.
-Preparing Corporate and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with Spanish tax authorities and tax advisors
-Manage and comply will all government reporting requirements and tax fillings
-Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements
-Based in Barcelona
-Controller / Experienced Accountant / Auditor
-3 to 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
-Advance degree in accounting
-Thorough Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
-Experience with creating financial statements
-Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
-Excellent Communications skills
-English level – First
-Knowledge of SAGE Software
-MS Office Knowledge
