Purpose of the Role

The Release Management Lead is responsible for managing the corporate technology release process, ensuring a single, transparent, and robust framework for planning, coordinating, approving, deploying, and tracking changes across the organization's environments.

The role's mission is to execute controlled releases, minimize risks, improve quality, increase predictability, and provide visibility to all stakeholders. Acting as the key link between technical teams, vendors, and business functions, the Release Management Lead establishes governance mechanisms that enable faster delivery without compromising operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Define, implement, and maintain the Release Management framework.

- Ensure consistent release processes across the organization.

- Apply standardized controls and governance practices.

- Coordinate release calendars and manage interdependencies between releases.

- Assess risks and ensure rollback and contingency plans are in place.

- Validate entry and exit criteria, ensuring compliance with quality, security, and business continuity requirements.

- Coordinate Development, QA, Operations, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure successful release execution.

- Ensure the availability of all required technical, operational, and functional documentation for each deployment.

- Define environment promotion practices and oversee segregation controls.

- Coordinate the necessary infrastructure readiness and approval bodies.





- Organize and lead release planning and governance meetings.

- Monitor implementation progress and coordinate incident resolution during and after releases.

- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and automation practices (CI/CD, DevOps).

- Enable data-driven decision-making through reporting and metrics.

Requisitos:

- Experience in IT Service Management, Change Management, or Release Management.

- Proven experience managing releases in large-scale IT & Data environments.

- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.

- Understanding of cloud architectures and enterprise systems.

- Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and technology risk management.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on governance, control, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and automation.

- Fluent in English: B2+ - C1

- Lead cross-functional initiatives and align diverse stakeholders.

- Promote the adoption of standards, governance, and control processes.

- Influence decision-making in complex organizational environments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to translate technical risks and issues into business language.
