Tasks and responsibilities

Strategic financial reporting & insights

- Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality financial reporting packages to the CEO and Board of Directors
- Translate complex financial data into clear actionable insights for executive decisions
- Develop and maintain automated KPIs and financial dashboards for real-time visibility

Transaction readiness & corporate strategy

- Maintain transaction-ready financial documentation and ensure data rooms are structured and fully up-to-date.
- Support leadership during investment rounds and due diligence processes by preparing financial models, schedules, and analytics.

Public funding & grant management

- Proactively identify relevant local and international grants
- Structure grant applications to maximize success rates
- Efficiently organize the accountability and auditing processes for public funds to ensure compliance

Core financial responsibilities

- Oversee core financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management




- Monitor the company’s capital structure and manage banking/investor relationships
- Ensure rigorous internal controls and compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

- You hold a master’s degree in financial management or equivalent degree with 10 years in a relevant position
- You have a proven track record as a Financial controller, ideally within a high-growth scale-up environment
- M&A; experience: You have been through a transaction before; a successful sale, or a significant funding round
- Timing is as critical as accuracy to you; you recognize that delayed insights are missed opportunities. You value accuracy but move with the speed of the business
- You can explain a complex P&L; to a creative team and a complex technical roadmap to a potential investor
- You are calm under pressure and a trusted partner when it comes to financial ethics
