We are looking for a highly experienced Mainframe Program Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex and business-critical programs with enterprise-wide impact.The successful candidate will take overall ownership of program objectives, governance and delivery outcomes, working across multiple business units and leading significant organizational change.This is a senior leadership position requiring strong expertise in program delivery, governance, risk management, stakeholder management and executive reporting, together with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex delivery environments.Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale and business-critical programs.- Define and ensure achievement of program objectives, milestones and delivery outcomes.- Establish and maintain strong program governance and delivery frameworks.- Select and apply the appropriate delivery methodology, including Waterfall, Agile, SAFe or hybrid approaches.- Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units and external partners.- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and financial aspects of the program.- Act as the main escalation point for senior stakeholders and executive management.- Drive decision-making and resolution of complex delivery issues.- Provide regular executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, financials and key dependencies.- Ensure alignment with enterprise governance,



policies and compliance requirements.- Drive organizational change and ensure effective adoption of program outcomes.- Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors.- Ensure successful transition and delivery of program outcomes within agreed scope, timelines and financial parameters.Requirements- 10+ years of experience in program/project delivery, with significant experience in large-scale and complex environments.- Proven experience as a Program Director, Program Manager or equivalent senior leadership position.- Strong experience managing enterprise-wide transformation or technology programs.- Excellent knowledge of program governance, risk management and stakeholder management.- Experience working across multiple business units and leading cross-functional teams.- Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, SAFe or hybrid.- Experience managing budgets, dependencies, risks and executive-level reporting.- Mainframe knowledge/experience is highly desirable.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.- Fluent English and German.- Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills.What We Offer- Remote working.- International and enterprise-level environment.- Opportunity to lead complex, business-critical transformation programs.- Collaboration with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
