About Agrikola.AI

Agrikola.AI helps farmers eliminate chemical pesticides through physical AI and photonics. We build Wagus, an autonomous UVC rover, and Nimbus, our cloud farm management platform. Our fleet is already deployed across customers in Spain and the Netherlands, working with horticultural growers. We're a small, hands-on team based in Barcelona, scaling fast.

The role

We're looking for a mechanical engineer to help design and evolve our rover platform — from chassis and structure to how it integrates motors, batteries, and drivetrain into a reliable field machine. This is a multidisciplinary role: you'll work closely with electronics and software but own the mechanical and systems-integration side end to end.

What you'll do

- Design and iterate on rover chassis, structural components, and mechanical assemblies in SolidWorks

- Run structural FEA on vehicle chassis and load-bearing components

- Design and tune suspension systems for uneven agricultural terrain

- Integrate electric motors, sensors, batteries, and power systems into the overall vehicle architecture

- Build, assemble, and field-test prototypes yourself — this is a hands-on role, not just a design desk job





- Collaborate with electronics, robotics, and field teams to solve real problems that show up in the field, fast

What we're looking for

- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering (or related)

- Experience with agricultural machinery or vehicle development (required)

- Strong SolidWorks skills; comfortable running structural FEA on chassis/vehicle components

- Working knowledge of suspension system design

- Understanding of electric motors, batteries, and systems integration in electromechanical products

- Hands-on attitude: comfortable assembling, wiring, and testing prototypes yourself, including in the field

- Early-to-mid career — we're not looking for a very senior profile, but someone ready to take ownership

- Valid working visa for Spain

- Professional English; Spanish or Catalan a plus
