What youll do Translates the production plan into mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring availability of
production material under the consideration of forecasts
Acts on any MRP exceptions in accordance with the production plan / finite schedule
Supports on the material inventory analysis by reviewing the inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes
Identifies material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalates issues to the appropriate parties (internal and external)
Identifies and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance
Ensures correct ordering of material supply in terms of quantity and time while optimizing order size and minimizing obsoletes
Collaborates with the site and conducts Rough Cut Capacity Planning for all material requirements vs.
qualified sources of supply to support the production plan at an effective cost
