As Lead AI Engineer in Madrid, you lead AI adoption for a key SGS business unit, translating complex challenges into AI-powered solutions with measurable Pu0026amp;L impact. You bridge business and the central AI Hub, driving end-to-end delivery while leveraging reusable platform components. You mentor a dedicated Accelerator Team and contribute innovations back to SGS’s global AI ecosystem. This role combines strategic thinking, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, value-driven AI outcomes.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Partner with Pu0026L owners and SMEs to understand challenges and co-create a high-value AI roadmap
• Lead end-to-end AI solution delivery, including data analysis, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows
• Act as the primary technical partner to the central AI Hub and leverage shared platform components
• Package successful solutions and novel techniques into reusable Lego Bricks for the central library
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to product engineers in the Accelerator Team
• Own projects from business case through delivery and handover,

Responsabilidades
• Hands-on experience building and shipping applications with LLMs, including RAG architectures and agentic systems (LangChain/LlamaIndex)
• Strong product mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Expert-level Python and foundation in ML/DL (PyTorch)
• Experience with AI infrastructure and MLOps: vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), Docker, Kubernetes, cloud AI services (GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker)
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with non-technical leaders and central tech teams
• 8+ years in AI/ML and a hands-on leadership mindset
