We are looking to engage a well established and experienced Freelance Project Director to join a new large-scale data center project in Barcelona.Start: November / DecemberContract: 2.5 Year Freelance ContractProject: Data CenterRole OverviewThis is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing the project from A-Z, working closely with the General Contractor, consultants and internal stakeholders. The position is challenging and fast-paced, requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to drive programme delivery.Key Responsibilities- Overall project leadership from design through construction, commissioning and handover- Full responsibility for programme understanding, control and challenge- Day-to-day management and coordination of the General Contractor- Supporting and challenging the GC to ensure schedule,



quality and cost targets are met- Cost awareness and support, including reporting and change management- Regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management- Proven experience as a Project Manager / Director function on data center projects- Previous data center project experience in Spain is required- Demonstrated track record managing full lifecycle projects- Strong understanding of large-scale construction programmes and GC management- Fluent English, with Spanish language skills highly desirable- Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, senior stakeholder environment- Strong knowledge of the Spanish construction and data center market#J-18808-Ljbffr
