GBSB Integral Business School is seeking an experienced Academic Coordinator (Instructional Design & Online Campus) & Lecturer to join our Madrid Campus.

This hybrid academic role combines academic coordination, instructional design and online learning management, and teaching and research. The successful candidate will support the effective delivery and continuous improvement of academic programs across on-campus and online learning environments while contributing to teaching and research activities.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Coordination

- Coordinate academic programs and support their effective delivery in line with institutional quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Head of Studies and Academic Operations and academic leadership on program quality and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for students and faculty regarding academic matters.
- Maintain academic documentation, including syllabi, assessments, grades, and examination materials.
- Support the staffing, selection, onboarding, and scheduling of adjunct faculty.
- Coordinate academic activities such as orientations, thesis and final project defenses, and graduation ceremonies.

Instructional Design & Online Campus

- Coordinate the academic delivery and day-to-day functioning of the Online Campus.
- Support faculty in designing and adapting courses for effective online and blended delivery.
- Review online course structure, learning materials, activities, and assessments to ensure consistency and quality.
- Support the development of engaging and student-centered digital learning experiences.
- Work with faculty to ensure courses are appropriately structured and maintained within the LMS.
- Monitor online course delivery and identify opportunities to improve student engagement and the overall learning experience.
- Support faculty in the effective use of educational technologies, digital tools, and AI in teaching.




- Contribute to the development and implementation of instructional design standards and best practices across programs.

Lecturer & Research

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate business courses using innovative and student-centered teaching approaches.
- Develop course materials and assessments aligned with program learning outcomes.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities and peer-reviewed publications.
- Support curriculum development and continuous program enhancement.
- Participate in academic meetings, committees, and institutional initiatives.

Qualifications

- PhD in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Education, Educational Technology, or a related discipline.
- Previous university-level teaching experience.
- Experience in instructional design, online learning, digital education, or online program coordination.
- Experience in academic coordination within higher education is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms, online course design, and educational technologies.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and the use of digital and AI tools in education.
- Demonstrated research activity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support and collaborate effectively with faculty and students in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
