Role Description As a City Host & Freelance Tour Guide in Salamanca, you will welcome travelers and lead personalized walking tours that highlight local neighborhoods, culture, and everyday life. You will design flexible itineraries based on traveler interests, share personal insights and stories about

Salamanca , and recommend local food, beverage, and cultural experiences. You will communicate with guests before and during tours to confirm meeting points, manage expectations, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.

This is a part-time, freelance,



on-site role that offers adaptable scheduling, allowing you to host tours around your availability while representing Lokafy’s mission to make travel more human and authentic.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to engage diverse travelers.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to create welcoming, respectful, and memorable experiences.
- Candidates should possess Training or mentoring skills to guide and inform travelers about local culture, customs, and city logistics.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of local Food & Beverage options to recommend authentic eateries, cafés, and culinary experiences.
- Candidates should possess basic Sales skills to present tours confidently, manage bookings, and encourage positive reviews or referrals.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong knowledge of Salamanca's neighborhoods and history, proficiency in multiple languages, reliability in time management, and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
