? We’re Hiring | Data Analyst – Madrid, Spain ??

Alenia Consulting is looking for a Data Analyst – BAU & Backlog Management to join an international Mobility & Fleet environment in Madrid.

The role combines Data Analysis, SQL, incident investigation, backlog management and UAT coordination, working closely with both Business and Technical teams.

? Your responsibilities

Own and manage the data-platform backlog, from initial triage through production release

Investigate data issues and perform root cause analysis

Use SQL to investigate complex data inconsistencies and support issue resolution

Prioritize tickets according to business impact, urgency and SLAs

Manage and maintain tickets in Jira / ServiceNow

Review and challenge proposed technical solutions

Define UAT success criteria and coordinate acceptance testing with business stakeholders

Coordinate production releases, validation and sign-off

Work closely with Data Engineers, IT and Business teams

Monitor backlog health, recurring issues, deadlines and escalations

Support sprint prioritization and ensure clear ownership and follow-up

? What we’re looking for





3+ years of relevant experience in Data Analysis, Data Operations or a similar environment

Advanced SQL skills, particularly for complex data investigation

Hands-on experience with Jira and/or ServiceNow

Experience managing backlogs, tickets, priorities and SLAs

Experience with UAT and production follow-up

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Experience with ETL, data pipelines and data quality is a plus

Basic exposure to Azure / Databricks is a plus

Python / PySpark knowledge is a plus

? Location: Madrid / Majadahonda, Spain

? Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote

? Contract: Permanent

? Seniority: Mid-level – 3+ years
