In this role, you will lead the computational discovery group in Barcelona, steering bioinformatics and molecular modelling to unravel disease mechanisms, identify targets, and enable early translational research. You’ll shape the computational strategy across discovery to translational stages and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to integrate data science into Ru0026amp;D. You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure robust, compliant scientific contributions.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary computational discovery team (bioinformatics and molecular modelling)
- Drive design and execution of computational strategy for target identification, validation, and molecular design




- Ensure high-impact scientific contributions across early discovery to translational stages
- Collaborate with Disease Biology, Molecules, Translational and Clinical leads, and other data science functions
- Represent the Computational discovery team in strategic discussions and governance forums
- Contribute to long-term data science strategy, including technology scouting and external partnerships
- Ensure compliance with data governance, reproducibility, and responsible AI guidelines xugodme

Responsabilidades

- PhD or equivalent in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, or related discipline
- 10+ years in computational discovery or related fields with leadership experience
- Strong understanding of drug discovery and translational workflows
- Proven ability to lead teams in matrixed Ru0026D environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
