As a Junior Auditor, you will be part of the Forvis Mazars Group, based in our Center of Excellence in Barcelona, contributing to audit engagements for Swiss and international clients while developing your technical expertise through audit procedures, analyses, and close collaboration with teams in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in audit engagements for Swiss and international clients under IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss statutory accounting requirements.
- Contribute to audit procedures, including testing, analyses and documentation, within a structured audit approach.
- Prepare working papers, analyses and initial summaries for onshore teams.
- Assist in preparing client deliverables, including reports, presentations and recommendations.
- Collaborate with audit teams based in Switzerland in an international environment.




- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

Profile

- University or business school studies in audit, finance or accounting.
- At least two years of experience in external audit, ideally within a well-structured audit firm.
- Good knowledge of audit and accounting fundamentals; exposure to IFRS is an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesise information.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Proactive, curious and eager to learn.

Languages

- Proficiency in English is essential.
- German language skills are considered a valuable asset, given the interaction with teams in German-speaking Switzerland.
