As Senior FinOps Engineer at Roche, you will lead cloud financial management efforts and AI-driven cost optimization to support digital product delivery. You’ll evaluate and integrate FinOps tools, shaping cost strategies for the AI Factory while preserving innovation. You act as a technical mentor, guiding engineers and finance partners, and helping define the financial direction for scalable cloud workloads.

This role blends financial governance with strategic leadership to enable sustainable, high-impact product development.

- Evaluate and integrate FinOps tools and methodologies to optimize the digital product lifecycle and cloud usage
- Lead AI FinOps by defining and implementing cost models for AI workloads while preserving innovation
- Drive medium to large initiatives to improve enterprise-wide FinOps practices and identify gaps in Cloud Financial Models
- Oversee governance activities including monthly accruals, forecasting, and Cloud saving plans across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Manage stakeholder relationships with vendors and internal customers to align financial objectives




- Provide general-level support for initiatives, speak at international events, and drive Centers of Excellence (CoEs)
- Design and enforce standards for cloud financial reporting and automated cost monitoring in large-scale environments
- Serve as FinOps consultant to engineers, IT managers, and finance partners; mentor FinOps team members

Responsabilidades

- Extensive experience managing large workloads across traditional and cloud architectures (Serverless, Kubernetes, AI/ML Infra)
- Proven track record in cloud finance control, budgeting and cost-efficiency strategies
- Demonstrated xugodme leadership in guiding strategic initiatives and coaching peers
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and pricing models
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or JavaScript and API/UI development for financial automation
- Expert knowledge of Cloud Cost Analysis tools (e.g., Cloudability) and ServiceNow CMDB
- Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
- One or more cloud/FinOps certifications preferred
