We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector.

?Key Responsibilities:

- Daily security operations: ensure the correct execution of day-to-day security activities, including the implementation of security changes, rules and policies, as well as the management and follow-up of operational requests and incidents.
- Ticket and mailbox management: review, manage and follow up on user requests and incidents through ServiceNow, ensuring appropriate tracking, resolution and documentation.
- Security compliance: review infrastructure and application configurations against security requirements, identify potential vulnerabilities and, once compliance has been confirmed, implement the required security rules and controls.
- Firewall and proxy administration: administer and maintain Check Point and Fortinet firewalls and McAfee proxies, including the implementation and review of security rules and policies, regular rule clean-up and incident support.
- Security technologies: operate and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF), IDS/IPS and Illumio micro-segmentation solutions.
- Security automation: develop and maintain Python scripts to optimise and automate security-related processes.
- Support users and IT production teams by resolving security-related queries and incidents and applying security best practices.
- On-call duty: respond to monitoring alerts and user calls outside normal working hours.

?Skills:

Essential:





- Hands-on experience with Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall suites (manager and firewall).
- Experience with Tufin SecureTrack/SecureChange.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and security/compliance rules.
- Experience in security compliance, risk analysis and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF), IDS/IPS and proxy technologies, preferably McAfee.
- Knowledge of network threats and best security practices.
- Certifications in security technologies are appreciated.
- English level B2 or higher.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of micro-segmentation, preferably Illumio.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of Unix (e.g., Solaris) and Windows systems.
- Experience with SecurID, ACE Server, HSM, WAF, IDS, IPS.
