Job Title: Ground Operations Specialist – Seville

Location: Seville (remote, with on the ground presence required on an as-needs basis)

Salary: €22,000 - €24,000

Start Date: November 2026

About You

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Ground Operations Specialist to help us deliver exceptional experiences that celebrate Seville's vibrant culture, food, and heritage.

The ideal candidate has a genuine love for Seville, travel, and culture. They are highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable being the go-to person on the ground — confident making day-to-day decisions independently while keeping their manager informed. This role is about keeping operations running smoothly: supporting guides, maintaining vendor relationships, resolving issues in real time, and acting as the eyes and ears of the business locally.

If you are detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and excited to build a career in tourism operations as part of an international team, this role offers a great foundation to grow.

About the Opportunity

As Ground Operations Specialist, you will be the day-to-day, on-the-ground presence for our Seville operations, working closely with guides and local partners to ensure every tour runs smoothly. You will report to a regional manager, who oversees strategy, quality, and operations across multiple markets, while you focus on the details that keep daily operations on track in Seville.

You will monitor tours in real time, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and act as the first point of contact for guides and vendors locally. You will also support guide onboarding and training, help coordinate complex bookings and private tours, and feed insights and improvement ideas back to your manager based on what you see in the field. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving,

and being where the action is – while the role is fully remote, some of your time will be spent on the ground in Seville.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Operations Monitoring: Monitor tours daily to ensure correct execution — ticketing, dietary requirements, guide notes, and special guest requests, pre-tour customer communications — and resolve issues in real time.
- Local Market Awareness: Track city news and events that could impact tours (strikes, public events, road closures, etc.) and communicate any impact promptly to the regional manager.
- Vendor & Site Coordination: Check vendor opening hours and be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors directly, including in emergencies, to confirm procedures and resolve access issues.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain day-to-day relationships with vendors, and local partners (sites, restaurants, transport), keeping communication consistent and flagging concerns or partnership opportunities to the regional manager.
- Cross-Team Communication: Respond promptly on Slack and other channels to requests from Ground Operation Managers, Guest Experiences teams, and Fulfilment teams; triage requests and escalate ongoing operational issues to the regional manager as needed.
- Guide Recruitment, Training & Ongoing Coordination: Recruit, onboard, and train guides to meet demand and uphold quality standards, including ongoing coordination of the local guide team.
- Guide Support & Engagement: Foster strong guide communication, provide feedback,

and conduct regular quality evaluations, and plan regular guide engagement events.
- Product Execution: Support the regional manager to refine and develop products as needed (in particular, finding new food vendors), executing the ground work following the strategy and direction provided by the regional manager, including helping develop alternative itineraries, find back up vendors, and figure out routes for private groups or special events.
- Accounting Support: Support the regional manager with guide and vendor invoicing as required, including cost management and reconciliations, as part of daily operations.
- Operational Quality: Gather feedback from guides, partners, and personal observation to support consistent quality; escalate findings and improvement ideas to the regional manager.
- Emergency & Peak Support: Act as the on-ground point of contact during emergencies or high-demand periods, ensuring smooth resolution.
- Special Projects: Support projects assigned by the regional team management, including contributing to cross-functional initiatives as they arise.

Skills & Experience

- Ideally 1–2 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, events, or operations.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving parts at once.
- Proactive and calm under pressure — confident making decisions independently while keeping your manager informed.
- Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (minimum B2 level in both languages)
- Comfortable learning and using multiple tech systems and tools in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Slack, and Google Suite is a plus.
- Availability to work adaptable hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
