In this role you contribute to the studio’s proprietary engine by improving VFX systems and rendering quality for rich RPG visuals. You work closely with Art/VFX to expand our VFX library and optimize performance across platforms. You will debug, profile, and document features to help ships high-caliber games.

This is a hands-on, collaborative position at an established studio known for acclaimed titles. You will help shape visual fidelity for new projects while growing your technical and creative impact.

Compensaciones / Ventajas

- Maintain and extend the proprietary engine's VFX systems (particle simulation, materials, post-process effects, rendering/lighting pipeline)
- Collaborate with the Art/VFX department to implement top-quality visual effects and grow the VFX component library
- Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets

Responsabilidades

- Thorough knowledge of C++
- Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
- Clear communication skills in English
- Enthusiasm for making and playing great games
- Proficiency with DirectX 12, Vulkan, or Metal
- Skilled in CPU and GPU profiling to diagnose bottlenecks
- Solid grasp of particle system algorithms, including GPU-based implementations
- Strong command of shading languages with experience xugodme writing complex GPU algorithms
- Comfort with multithreaded systems
- Strong software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Willingness to collaborate and take ownership of work
