The Role

As our Lead Producer, you’ll be the engine behind SIERRA's productions. From the moment a project is signed until post-production begins, you own the process and progress. You will be the project production lead, turning creative ambition into a clear plan and making sure it gets executed flawlessly, on time and on budget.

This role combines two worlds: you will coordinate productions running at SIERRA, and you will also produce projects yourself. Once a project moves into post-production, you hand it over to our Post-production Coordinator, who takes it through to delivery.

Our work spans three types of production: traditional shoots, hybrid productions that blend live-action with AI, and fully AI-generated campaigns. No experience with AI productions yet is no problem. Your production expertise is what matters most, and we'll get you up to speed on the AI side together with our AI Lead and team.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for a hands-on organiser who wants to shape the future of modern production with us. We value the energy of in-person collaboration: this role is based out of our Barcelona office, where you will work 3 days per week, with the remaining 2 days offering the flexibility to work from the office or from home.

What You'll Do

As a core member of our team, you will focus on:

Project Production Leadership

- Act as the project production lead for signed projects, from kick-off until the handover to post-production.
- Be the main point of contact for clients during the production phase, keeping them informed, aligned and confident.
- Coordinate multiple productions in parallel, including planning, monitoring budgets and project timelines, anticipating risks before they become problems.




- Depending on the size of the production, you will bring in and lead external production teams (producers, production coordinators, production assistants), while staying accountable for the overall result.
- Ensure a seamless handover to the Post-production Coordinator, so every project continues without friction.
- Build and manage SIERRA's network of crew, suppliers and partners.
- Continuously improve our production workflows, templates and tools, so we get sharper with every project.

Hands-on Producing

Depending on the scale of a project and what else is running, you'll either only lead the production from above or also produce it yourself.

- Produce projects yourself in full, across traditional, hybrid and AI-driven productions.
- Support new business by providing production estimates, timelines and feasibility input for client proposals.
- Translate creative concepts and client briefs into realistic production plans, schedules and budgets.

- Who You Are: The Ideal Profile You are a natural organiser with a love for creative work, equally comfortable steering the bigger picture as diving into the details.

- Significant track record as a Producer or Production Coordinator, preferably within a production house or creative agency.
- Proven experience managing budgets,



schedules and crews on commercial photo and/or video productions.
- You can juggle multiple projects at once without losing sight of the details.
- You are calm under pressure and a solution-finder on set, even when plans change last minute.
- You are a clear and confident communicator, with clients as well as with crew.
- You are curious about AI and eager to explore hybrid production workflows together with the SIERRA team.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a must
- A strong network within the Barcelona and Spanish production scene is a big plus.
- You thrive on autonomy and the responsibility to deliver excellence.
