Overview In this Medior Backend Software Engineer role, you contribute to developing cloud-based web applications for ports and terminals. You join a cross-functional team, working from design to deployment to maintain scalable, reliable software. You’ll build and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices ecosystem, leveraging real-time data and AI-driven insights.

Responsabilidades Design, develop, and maintain Java (Spring Boot) web features Participate in full SDLC including testing, deployment and maintenance Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into solutions Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to Kafka-based integrations Write clean,



testable code and participate in code reviews to raise standards Implement intuitive UIs aligned with UX/UI designs Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; create automated tests Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team Contribute to continuous improvement and technical discussions Requisitos principales Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (Java) Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot Experience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs Understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication Knowledge of clean code and software development best practices Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive, team-oriented with good communication in English Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment Empathy for customer needs to deliver value Team collaboration Communication Analytical mindset Java Spring Boot * RESTful APIs
