In this role you will lead the engineering that turns AI breakthroughs into robust, scalable products for enterprise use. You will partner with researchers, scientists and platform teams to design reproducible, secure AI systems deployed across cloud and on-premises environments. You will shape standards, automation and reusable capabilities that uplift the entire organization, accelerating the path from idea to impact.

This is a hands-on, leadership role focused on delivering trustworthy AI at scale and across diverse environments.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Provide technical leadership for AI platform and product engineering with emphasis on software design, reproducibility, performance and maintainability.
- Turn research prototypes into secure, scalable, reusable platform capabilities for Discovery.
- Develop and optimize ML training and inference workflows across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Establish and promote software engineering standards, documentation, testing,



code review and reusable delivery patterns.
- Leverage CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps and MLOps to improve delivery speed, reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, scientists, platform teams and external partners to translate scientific needs into technical solutions. xugodme
- Mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and promote responsible, compliant and reproducible AI engineering.

Responsabilidades

- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
- Proven track record implementing software engineering best practices across multiple use cases
- Advanced proficiency in Python and scientific libraries (PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas)
- Experience optimizing distributed training of ML models
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and other MLOps practices
- Experience deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving and technical communication
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
