About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Product Engineer to join an innovative automotive engineering project. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, validation, and industrialization of mechanical products, ensuring technical feasibility, quality, cost optimization, and successful delivery according to customer milestones.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and customer engineering departments, you will contribute to the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to industrialization.

We are seeking professionals with a strong technical background, experience in product development environments, and excellent communication skills to work in a multicultural and international environment. Fluency in English combined with German, French, or Italian is required.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Ensure the technical feasibility of products during quotation and development phases.

✅ Apply standardized solutions and lessons learned throughout product development processes.

✅ Participate in design reviews and support design validation activities.

✅ Coordinate prototype development and delivery according to customer milestones.

✅ Participate in Product and Process FMEA activities.





✅ Analyze technical test results and implement corrective actions in collaboration with quality teams.

✅ Support manufacturing teams during product industrialization phases.

✅ Manage engineering changes and product modifications throughout development.

✅ Drive product improvements related to cost, quality, and performance through benchmarking and technical innovation.

✅ Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams to optimize components regarding cost, quality, and manufacturability.

✅ Develop and supervise CAD designs (2D & 3D).

✅ Act as a technical interface with customer engineering teams to ensure effective product development.

Requirements

? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

? Fluency in English combined with German, French, or Italian is required.

? Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar engineering position.

⚙️ Previous experience with mechanical products.

Nice to Have

⭐ Experience within the Automotive Industry.

⭐ Experience in plastic parts development.
