Think Ahead Education is launching a new Study Mentoring service for IGCSE, A-Level and IB students, focused on helping students build the skills, habits and strategies they need to become more independent and effective learners.

This is not traditional tutoring. Our mentors work on areas such as planning, organisation, study techniques, motivation, executive functioning, wellbeing and exam preparation.

The service is structured around two pathways:

Core

Designed for students who need structured support with study habits, organisation, planning, motivation, independence and exam preparation.

Plus

Designed for students who require a higher level of personalised support, including profiles such as ADHD, dyslexia, autism, executive functioning difficulties, giftedness or learning-related socio-emotional needs.

We are looking for a versatile qualified psychologist who can work across both pathways and play a key role in shaping the support provided to our students.

What will you do?

You will work directly with students while also helping define the most appropriate support pathway for each case. Your responsibilities may include:

- Delivering 1:1 Study Mentoring sessions within both the Core and Plus programmes.
- Conducting initial interviews with students and families.
- Identifying academic, developmental and socio-emotional needs affecting learning.
- Carrying out psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments within your professional scope of practice.
- Formulating diagnostic impressions and professional reports where appropriate.
- Translating assessment findings into a clear individual mentoring plan.
- Adapting mentoring strategies to each student’s specific profile.
- Providing guidance to families, teachers and other mentors.
- Monitoring more specialised or complex cases.




- Supporting the ongoing development of our Plus methodology and resources.

A key part of the role is turning assessment into practical educational support: helping determine how the student should study, plan, organise, regulate their workload and approach their learning based on their individual profile.

Who are we looking for?

For profiles expected to take responsibility for psychological and neuropsychological assessment, we are particularly interested in candidates with:

- Degree in Psychology.
- Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria or equivalent qualification enabling professional practice in Spain.
- Current registration with the corresponding Colegio Oficial de Psicología.
- Experience in psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment.
- Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders and learning difficulties.
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.

However, as we expect the team to grow significantly, we are also open to considering professionals with a strong background in Psychology, Education, Psychopedagogy or related fields who may not yet hold the Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria, particularly for mentoring positions within the Core and Plus pathways.
