Quality Engineer – Automotive | French / Italian / German

At K-LAGAN, we are looking for several Quality Engineers to join a technical project within the automotive sector, focused on product quality during development, validation and industrialization phases.

We are looking for professionals with hands-on experience in automotive product quality and plastic components, ideally within a Tier 1, OEM or automotive engineering environment.

This recruitment process covers several openings within the same automotive program, with different language requirements. In addition to English, candidates must have professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French, Italian or German.

Responsibilities

- Lead and participate in product FMEA / DFMEA activities during development phases.
- Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, internal standards and applicable regulations.
- Support product homologation activities.
- Ensure traceability of special characteristics across key technical documentation: FMEA, drawings, layouts, etc.
- Participate in design reviews together with engineering teams.
- Define Control Plans, gauges and control systems.
- Coordinate prototype and sample deliveries according to customer requirements.
- Define and manage DVP / PVT validation plans together with testing teams.
- Analyze validation and test results and collaborate on technical countermeasure definition.
- Work closely with manufacturing quality teams during product industrialization.
- Act as a technical interface with customers, engineering teams and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements





- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Product Quality, Development Quality or a similar automotive quality position.
- Previous experience working with plastic components within the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of FMEA / DFMEA, APQP, Control Plans, product validation and technical documentation.
- Experience within an automotive OEM, Tier 1 or engineering environment.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French, Italian or German.
- Spanish will be valued.
- Experience with plastic injection, exterior/interior components, rear-view mirrors or vision systems will be highly valued.

The expected salary range for this position is around €38,000–€42,000 gross per year, with flexibility for highly experienced profiles depending on technical expertise, language skills and overall fit.
