? Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an engineering project.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design validation to industrialization and customer approval. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams, leading quality activities such as FMEA, validation planning, homologation processes, testing coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives for automotive products.

We are seeking professionals with a strong technical background, experience in product development environments, and excellent communication skills to work in a multicultural and international environment. Fluency in English combined with German, French, or Italian is required.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead Product FMEAs and related quality tools implementation during the product development phases.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal quality standards, international norms, regulations, and applicable directives alongside Product Engineering Leads (Mechanical, Hardware and Software).
- Lead product homologation and certification activities with official entities, supported by the Homologation team.
- Manage product modifications throughout the development lifecycle and support the generation of mechanical and hardware documentation.
- Ensure traceability of all Special Characteristics across product documentation,



including FMEA, drawings, PCB layouts, and related technical records.
- Participate in design reviews and support continuous product quality improvements.
- Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained and stored in the company's repositories, including PLM databases, SVN repositories, and DOORS.
- Define control plans, design control gauges, and participate in the validation of control systems and quality tools.
- Ensure prototype deliveries meet customer expectations and requirements across mechanical, hardware, and software functionalities.
- Collaborate with Testing Departments in the definition of functional and parametric test benches, reliability tests, and EE/EMC validation activities.
- Define and manage Design Validation Plans (DVP) and Product Validation Tests (PVT).
- Coordinate testing activities and sample deliveries among different departments.
- Analyze DVP and PVT results and work with engineering teams to implement corrective actions and technical improvements.
- Support manufacturing and quality teams during product industrialization phases.
- Contribute to cost reduction, quality enhancement, and product performance improvement through benchmarking and implementation of innovative technical solutions.
- Capture and promote technical lessons learned throughout the industrialization process.




- Maintain close collaboration with customer engineering teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Required Qualifications

- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar Quality Engineering position.
- Previous experience with mechanical products.
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, Validation Processes, and Quality Assurance practices.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Languages Candidates must be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages:

- English + German
- English + French
- English + Italian

Additional European languages will be considered an advantage.

Nice to Have

- Previous experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Experience working with plastic components and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of automotive standards, homologation processes, and product validation environments.
- Experience with PLM systems and engineering documentation management tools.
