You will lead assessment, optimization, and modernization of a large on-prem and hybrid database estate. In this team, you combine DBA expertise with advisory skills to define remediation plans and drive improvements. You’ll work across multiple platforms, collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and operations, and present technical findings to stakeholders.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Assess an estate of ~1,700 databases and conduct discovery and characterization
- Analyze versions, configurations, lifecycle status, and health to identify risks
- Recommend and plan improvements across performance, availability, security, and DR
- Prioritize databases by risk and remediation needs; participate in modernization and rationalization
- Perform advanced administration, upgrades, migrations,



and cross-platform movements
- Design scripts to automate discovery, assessment, and administration
- Develop standards, prepare technical reports and executive presentations
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and operations teams and mentor juniors

Responsabilidades

- 5+ years as DBA or Database Consultant in large-scale environments
- Hands-on experience with at least one listed DB technology and knowledge of others
- Experience in database assessment, modernization, xugodme or transformation projects
- Automation and scripting skills (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL; PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Experience with backups, DR, monitoring, performance tuning, and migrations
- Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations
