In this role you contribute to designing mechanical infrastructure for nuclear power facilities, supporting new-build and upgrades. You join multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient plant systems. You’ll develop engineering solutions, produce technical documentation, and mentor less experienced engineers. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity in Madrid with travel for site work and client interactions.

- Develop solutions for modifications, upgrades and plant improvements
- Produce calculations, specifications, reports, equipment schedules and design documentation
- Coordinate interfaces with civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation and control disciplines
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, designers, suppliers and teams
- Ensure designs meet technical, safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Manage engineering activities per budgets, schedules and quality standards




- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers
- Contribute to design reviews, technical assurance and continuous improvement
- Support site surveys, plant assessments and client meetings

Responsabilidades

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
- Typically 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Strong understanding of Spanish engineering standards, regulations and industry xugodme best practices
- Experience with safety-critical quality assurance programs
- Experience as a lead engineer or technical authority (desirable)
- Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines
- Legal right to work in Spain
- Knowledge of technical specifications and equipment procurement processes
