As a Solution Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative intralogistics and warehouse automation solutions for medium to complex customer projects. You will work closely with customers, Sales, Engineering, Controls, and Software teams to understand operational requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and design solutions that deliver business value. You will also play a key role in customer discussions, workshops, and pre-sales activities, providing technical guidance throughout the solution development process The role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and commercial awareness throughout the sales and solution development process.

- Analyze customer operations, business processes, and material flows to develop optimized automation and intralogistics solutions.
- Design technical concepts, material flow diagrams, system layouts, and subsystem configurations for medium to complex projects.
- Conduct technical feasibility assessments and support Go/No-Go decision-making processes.
- Create solution layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit and prepare supporting design documentation.
- Develop budgetary cost estimates, ROI calculations, and business case evaluations.
- Collaborate with Sales Project Managers to prepare proposals, contracts,



and customer presentations.
- Act as the technical lead during customer meetings, workshops, and pre-sales activities.
- Work closely with software, controls, system engineering, and purchasing teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Support concept reviews, design reviews, and the preparation of technical specifications and RFQs.

Profilo

Requisiti per il successo

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in solution design, material handling, warehouse automation, or intralogistics.
- Strong understanding of material handling systems, automation technologies, and solution design methodologies.
- Experience creating technical concepts, layouts, and 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively under deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills such as German, French, or Italian are an advantage.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or SQL is considered a plus.
